Refuse Collection in
Lincoln Park – Natural Gas Trucks Only
The Borough of Lincoln Park has recently
contracted with Suburban Disposal (Roselle) of Fairfield, NJ to collect refuse
through July 30, 2019 using only trucks running on compressed Natural Gas
(CNG). Powered by Natural Gas instead of
diesel fuel, the trucks will improve air quality in Lincoln Park, as well as
reduce noise and the carbon footprint, enhancing sustainability. The CNG trucks will be used in the same way
as diesel trucks with no changes to the refuse collection services or the daily
driving routes
