How Does Social Distancing Help?
Non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) include keeping at least 6ft from others, washing your hands vigorously, not touching your face and staying away from others if you are ill. During the Spanish Flu, it is estimated that 500 million people (1/3 of the world’s population) became infected with this virus. Approximately 675,000 people in the US and 50 million people world-wide died.
